About Mississippi Upland
Our History
What began as a shared passion among three friends in the fall of 2022 quickly grew into something much bigger. United by our love for bird hunting and the outdoors, we spent countless days in the field together pursuing wild birds across the country through guided hunts. Since then, we have traveled more than 10,000 miles, engaging in pheasant hunting and quail hunting in multiple states, creating memories that strengthened both our skills and our friendship.
As our passion continued to grow, we explored different avenues within the upland hunting world, including raising our own game birds. While the experience was valuable, we realized our true passion wasn’t simply raising birds—it was sharing the upland hunting experience with others.
That realization led us to establish Mississippi Upland. What started as a hobby among friends has evolved into a business built on a commitment to quality hunting experiences, genuine hospitality, and lasting relationships. Looking back, we are grateful for the journey and proud of what we’ve built—not only a successful hunting operation but also meaningful friendships and lifelong connections with our customers.
Today, we remain dedicated to providing memorable upland bird hunting experiences while sharing the passion for the sport that brought us together in the first place.
Our Vision
At Mississippi Upland, our vision extends far beyond providing exceptional guided hunts for quail and pheasant. We are dedicated to preserving and growing the rich tradition of upland bird hunting by introducing future generations to a sport that has brought countless memories, friendships, and outdoor experiences to sportsmen and women for decades.
As wild quail populations have declined across much of the country, many people have come to believe that upland bird hunting is a pastime that is slowly disappearing. We see things differently. We believe there is still tremendous opportunity to share the excitement of guided hunts, working behind great bird dogs, experiencing the beauty of the outdoors, and creating lifelong memories in the field. Through our pheasant hunting and quail hunting experiences, we strive to provide an authentic encounter that sparks a lasting passion for upland hunting in every guest who visits our property.
Our goal is to serve as ambassadors for the sport by welcoming hunters of all ages and experience levels. Whether it is a young hunter carrying a shotgun for the first time, a family creating new traditions together, or a seasoned sportsman reliving cherished memories, we want every guest to leave with a smile and a deeper appreciation for upland bird hunting.
Success at Mississippi Upland is measured by more than birds harvested.
